§ Mr. Neubertasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will introduce coins for 20p and £1 and banknotes for £2 and £50.
§ Mr. Denzil Davies, pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 10th April 1978], gave the following information:
The denominations and specifications of the coinage and note issue are reviewed from time to time, as is the balance between notes and coin. These reviews will continue, but I have no present intention of making a change.
