§ Mr. GoldingThe latest information is from the 1971 Census of Population and is for Haydock Urban District, before local government reorganisation, and which is part of the Wigan travel-to-work area. In 1971 290 residents of Haydock worked in the remainder of the Wigan travel-to-work area and about 2,650 worked in the St. Helens travel-to-work area.
