§ Mrs. Jegerasked the Secretary of State for the Environment what special assistance is being provided for Camden council for the acquisition of properties in Bloomsbury not now needed for the National Library; and what help is available for improvments and rehabilitation made necessary by blight resulting from years of planning indecision by the Government.
§ Mr. ShoreI understand that the council is carrying out surveys of the residential properties in which it is interested, in order to establish the size of the problem. Normal housing subsidies will be available to the council, and historic building grant may also be available for some of the work.
