§ Mr. Cohenasked the Secretary of State for the Environment when Her Majesty's Government intend to ratify the Paris Convention for the prevention of marine pollution from land-based sources in view of its imminent entry into force.
§ Mr. Denis HowellHer Majesty's ambassador in Paris is today depositing with the French Government the United Kingdom's instrument of ratification. This is the seventh ratification and as such enables the convention to be brought into force in a month's time.
