§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether the latest pay rise of £184 per week granted to, the Chairman of the Lonrho Group is within the voluntary pay guidelines.
§ Mr. Harold Walker, pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 23rd March 1978; Vol. 946, c. 760–1], gave the following information:
I am informed that the Chairman of the Lonrho Group has had no increase in salary since 1972.
