- Chairman and nine other members.

- Members £1,000 (on average attendance of less than one day a week).
Purpose
To carry out their functions as specified in the Employment Protection Act 1975.Central Arbitration Committee
Chairman, 18 Deputy Chairmen and 63 other members. Chairman £6,729.40 per annum for 2½ days a Week. Deputy Chairman £45 a session.Members £35 a session.Purpose

Purpose
To hear appeals from persons aggrieved by a decision of the licencing authority to refuse to grant a licence or for revoking the holding of a licence.Expenses
Chairman and members are eligible for payment of travelling expenses, and subsistence allowances at the present rate of £1.20 for an absence of more than five and not less than 10 hours; £2.55 for a longer absence in one day and night subsistance at the rate of £23.15 in London and £21.30 elsewhere, when travelling on the business of a board/committee.Costs
The yearly expenditure since 1974 on each organisation could be obtained only at a proportionate cost.
