§ Mr. Shersbyasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what plans the Forestry Commission has for the future of Winterfold Wood, Albury, Surrey; and if further land is being acquired in this area.
§ Mr. Strang:The Forestry Commission intends to continue replanting the extensive areas destroyed by fires in recent years, whilst maintaining the existing unaffected plantations, and also to provide recreation facilities in Winter-fold Wood for the general public. There are no plans for acquiring additional land in this area.
