§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Minister for the Civil Service why he will not discuss with all concerned the introduction of a system of free and non-taxable travel to and from their homes and their places of employment for all public servants together with the support of their homes and the financial cost of upkeep.
§ Mr. Charles R. Morris:I can answer only in respect of the Civil Service. Such benefits cannot be justified by comparison with the general practice in commerce and industry.
