§ Mr. Greville Jannerasked the Secretary of State for Employment whether, in view of the fall in the value of the 887W £ sterling, he will now raise the statutory maximum limits payable to employees who are dismissed unfairly and dismissed as redundant, respectively.
§ Mr. Harold Walker:The present statutory maximum earnings limit of £80 a week is being reviewed as required by Section 86 of the Employment Protection Act 1975. Parliament will be informed as appropriate on completion of the review.
