asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will publish a table in the format of table 2 of Cmnd Paper 6890 showing defence expenditure analysed between expenditure in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland by outturn prices for 1975–76.

The Bank of England already conducts regular surveys of trading activity on the London Metal Exchange, and, with the full co-operation of the Exchange, is seeking to improve the speed and efficiency of the existing system.
