Mr. Arthur Lewis

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services whether he will give, for the longest and most convenient period of time, the number of persons who have been granted cash, together with the amount, to purchase alarm clocks; how many of these were employed and unemployed; and how many have been supplied with actual alarm clocks.
