§ Miss Margaret JacksonIn July my right hon. Friend invited the views of interested organisations and individuals on the recommendations about education made in their report on the West Indian community by the Select Committee on Race Relations and Immigration. These recommendations included the collection of ethnically based statistics. About 80 replies have been received so far and these are being examined.
