HC Deb 24 November 1977 vol 939 c833W
Mr. Rifkind

asked the Secretary of State for Transport which of the matters for which he is responsible in England he is not responsible for in Scotland; for which matters he is currently responsible in Scotland; and which matters for which he is currently responsible in Scotland will become the responsibility of the Scottish Assembly and executive under the terms of the Scotland Bill.

Mr. William Rodgers

The transport matters which are to be devolved to the Scottish Assembly and Executive are set out in Schedules 10 and 11 to the Scotland Bill. They include highways matters for which I am currently responsible in England but not in Scotland. The Scotland Bill does not provide for the devolution of any of the matters for which I am currently responsible in Scotland.
