§ Mr. Charles R. MorrisNo special allowance other than the London supplement is payable to Ministers in addition to salary. The supplement, at the rate of £340 for Cabinet Ministers and £385 for other Ministers, is paid to Ministers based in London—except those provided with an official residence—to compensate for the additional cost of living in the capital.
Ministers staying away from home or travelling on official duty are entitled to reimbursement of expenses at the same rates as laid down for the most senior civil servants. These are:
