§ Dr. SummerskillSixty officers were on duty on 29th July, and 100 on 4th November. The increase in the number of officers reflects the implementation of improved security arrangements at the Palace following the statement by Mr. Speaker on 27th July—[Vol. 936, c. 631–4.]—and normal seasonal variations.
