HC Deb 11 November 1977 vol 938 c303W
Mr. Churchill

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will list in the Official Reportthe number of parliamentary constituencies which stand to benefit from the expansion of the urban aid programme he announced on 8th November 1977 and the number which are Government held.

Mr. Shore:

This is not possible. Following my statement on 8th November 1977 all local authorities in England will be invited to put forward projects for assistance under the urban programme in 1978–79 and will be able to submit projects wherever there is special social need in the urban areas they contain.
