Mr. John Page

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in view of the demonstrations which have been held outside the Grunwick factory, of the casualties to police and others which have arisen, and of the alleged breaches of the peace caused, he will discuss with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis the advisability of seeking powers to permit such future demonstrations to be held in more suitable venues such as Hyde Park.
