§ Mr. Peter Millsasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth 248W Communities and of the treaty establishing a single Council and a single Commission of the European Communities was published in October 1975 as Command Paper No. 6252 which is available to the public and to officials in the normal ways. The treaty entered into force on 1st June 1977. A notice to that effect was published in the London, Edinburgh and Belfast Gazettes on 3rd June 1977. The General Secretariat of the EEC Council of Ministers also published the text of the treaty in a special booklet. Neither the Government nor the Community have yet published a new consolidated text of the treaties establishing the European Communities to incorporate the amendments made by the 1975 treaty.
