HC Deb 09 November 1977 vol 938 c126W
Mr. Kilfedder

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will make a statement on the Government's expectations with regard to the contribution likely to be made by the Belfast firm of James Mackie and Sons to net overseas earnings in 1977–78 and 1978–79.

Mr. Robert Sheldon:

No. It is not for the Government to forecast the production or exports of a private sector organisation.
