asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will take up the question of the genocide in Cambodia with the United Nations.

Mr. Luard:

As I informed the House on 4th May, we have been exploring how violations of human rights might effectively be raised in the United Nations Commission on Human Rights which next meets in February 1978.
