§ Mr. Edwin Wainwrightasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if, in the light of the fact that people in the Rotherham Area Health Authority district, which includes Swinton and Wath-upon-Dearne in the Dearne Valley constituency, object to the postponement of the new Rotherham District General Hospital due to inadequate revenue funds, he will take steps to ensure that this new hospital is opened as quickly as possible.
