CunninghamEstimates of the effects of changes in the price of petrol on consumption are made by reference to the results of recent studies which have analysed previous experience of such changes. Some such results were published in February 1977 by the Department in Energy Paper No. 17, Report of the Working Party on Energy Elasticities.
