HC Deb 16 May 1977 vol 932 cc58-9W
Mr. Terry Walker

asked the Secretary of State for Trade what encouragement his Department has given to British Airways about beginning Concorde flights to Singapore and Australia as soon as possible.

Mr. Clinton Davis

We are pursuing discussions with the countries concerned so that the permissions required will be available before British Airways wish to start services to Singapore and Melbourne; its first priority is to build up the New York service.
