HC Deb 09 May 1977 vol 931 c384W
Mr. Biggs-Davison

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what action he has taken on the dossier, submitted by the hon. Member for Manchester, Blackley (Mr. Rose) concerning alleged clandestine activities by South African agencies.

Mr. Rowlands

The dossier to which the hon. Member refers was submitted to the Prime Minister on 22nd November, and has been carefully examined by the appropriate authorities. The greater part of the information contained in it was already available to the Government. The dossier contained no new evidence concerning these alleged activities, and unless such evidence is forthcoming no further action is envisaged.
