HC Deb 09 May 1977 vol 931 cc316-7W
Mr. Adley

asked the Minister for the Civil Service if it is the policy of his Department to instruct the Government Hospitality Fund not to purchase goods or supplies from any supplier or manufacturer where there is an industrial dispute.

Mr. Charles R. Morris

No.

Mr. Adley

asked the Minister for the Civil Service if, pursuant to information supplied to the hon. Member for Christ-church and Lymington in his letter dated 2nd May 1977, he will indicate whether any hotels or catering establishments are currently barred from use by the Government Hospitality Fund due to the presence of circumstances that might cause embarrassment to guests of Her Majesty's Government; and if he will list all such establishments.

Mr. Charles R. Morris

I would refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave to my hon. Friend the Member for Manchester, Moss Side (Mr. Hatton) on 3rd May. No hotels or catering establishments are specifically barred from use by the Government Hospitality Fund.
