§ Mr. Ralph Howellasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will show the net weekly spending power on the basis of the figures published in the reply to the hon. Member for Norfolk, North, Official Report, 10th November 1975, column 540, and as amended Official Report, March 1976, column 96, of (a) a civil servant, (b) a member of the Armed Forces, (c) a car worker and (d) an agricultural worker, assuming that (a), 30W (c) and (d) are paying rent of £6.40 and rates of £2 and that (b) has housing costs of £8.40, with a wife and two children and whose income is normally £60 per week when sick and when in receipt of tax refunds.
