date fixed for the Queen's visit to the police service, on 5th May, would cause inconvenience to representatives of police authorities in England and Wales who might be invited to be present at Hendon for the visit but would be involved in local authority elections on that date. In order to avoid this inconvenience, the Queen has been graciously pleased to agree that her visit to the police service should now take place on Friday 6th May.
