asked the Secretary of State for Defence how many houses and flats built for Service personnel and families remained unoccupied in Staffordshire; how many of these had been unoccupied for more than one year, five years and 10 years; and if he will make a statement.

Latest available figures show 293 Service married quarters vacant in Staffordshire, of which 49 had been vacant for more than six months. I
