§ Mr. Robin F. Cookasked the Secretary of State for Transport if he will state the quantity of krypton which was released in the incident to which he refers in his answer of 8th March concerning transport of irradiated fuel.
§ Mr. HoramThe quantity of krypton released was about 250 milicuries over several days. This is less than that allowed by the international regulations for certain packages in transit (see Section II, Regulations for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Materials 1973 Revised Edition, published by the International Atomic Energy Agency).
