HC Deb 04 March 1977 vol 927 cc346-7W
Mr. Rooker

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will publish the latest available information regarding those registered unemployed persons who are in receipt of supplementary benefit only, and whose entitlement is less than at the standard rate for any reason by sex, age, amount of benefit and region.

Mr. Orme

The latest information relates to persons unemployed without good cause in December 1975, when 26,000 of the 406,000 unemployed claimants receiving supplementary benefit only had their entitlement reduced for that reason. The average reduction was £3.58. No other information is available.
