HC Deb 04 March 1977 vol 927 c346W
Mr. Cartwright

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services how many general practitioners providing the full range of general medical services are employed in the Greenwich Health District; and what is the average number of patients on each doctor's list.

Mr. Moyle

Information about the number of general practitioners in a particular health district is not held centrally, but in the Greenwich and Bexley Health Area there were 189 providing the full range of general medical services at 1st October 1976. The most recent available figure for average list size was 2,440 at 1st October 1975.
