§ Mr. Peter Bottomleyasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether he will estimate how many car benefit forms (P522) have been sent out and how many will need to be submitted by taxpayers in accordance with the provision of Schedule 7 to the Finance Act 1976.
§ Mr. Robert Sheldon,pursuant to his reply [Official Report, 2nd March 1977; Vol. 927, c. 239], gave the following information:
About 300,000 formrs P522 have been issued. It is not yet possible to say how many taxpayers are likely to be liable in 1977–78 under Schedule 7 to the Finance Act 1976.
