§ Mr. JohnThe National Federation of Licensed Victuallers, the National Association of Licensed House Managers, the National Food and Drink Federation, the Union of Shop, Distributive and Allied Workers and the Trades Union Congress have all made representations on the subject of assaults on licensees or their staff. We have also received a number of letters. either directly or through their Members of Parliament, from local branches of the relevant trade associations.
