(3) what was the number of resignations from the Royal Ulster Constabulary in each of the years 1972 to 1976.
§ Mr. DunnThe information for the years 1972–75 is contained in the Chief Constable's Annual Report, copies of which were, I understand, made available on publication to the hon. Member. The strength of the force on 31st December 1976 was 5,253. There were 69 retirements and 106 resignations from the RUC in 1976.
