§ Mr. Pavittasked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will issue a revised edition of leaflet NHS 4 entitled NHS Dental Treatment which will give greater emphasis to the need of the patient to establish at the outset if treatment is to be given under the NHS and to ascertain, if the treatment is given privately, the total cost before agreeing to become a private patient.
§ Mr. MoyleLeaflet NHS 4 is currently under review, and this point will be borne in mind. A leaflet about NHS treatment is inappropriate for the inclusion of advice about private practice, for which I have no responsibility.
