HC Deb 21 June 1977 vol 933 c402W
37. Mr. Michael Marshall

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if the Office of Population Censuses and Surveys is currently considering increasing the scope of the survey "Drinking in Scotland" to cover the rest of the United Kingdom.

Mr. Deakins

My own Department, in conjunction with the Home Office, and the Scottish Home and Health Department, has opened discussions with the Office of Population Censuses and Surveys about the possibility of a wide-ranging survey of drinking habits in Great Britain to take place within the next few years.
