HC Deb 28 July 1977 vol 936 cc376-7W
Q13. Mr. Tebbit

asked the Prime Minister if, pursuant to his statement of 7th July, Official Report, column 1422, that the social contract was no longer intact and his answer of 13th July to the hon. Member for Chingford that it was not broken, he will define more closely the present status of the social contract.

The Prime Minister

I refer the hon. Member to the reply which I gave earlier today to the hon. Member for Chertsey and Walton (Mr. Pattie).
