§ Mr. John GrantDetailed discussions on the Sixth Amendment to the 1967 EEC454W Directive on the Classification, Packaging and Labelling of Dangerous Substances are still in progress and it is not possible to say when the negotiations will be completed nor when the final directive will come before the Council of Ministers. The Government are seeking to ensure that the scheme finally agreed will achieve the aim of reducing potential hazards from the use of dangerous chemicals.
