§ Mr. GoldingNo. I am informed by the Manpower Services Commission that the use made of PER by local authorities varies from authority to authority. In general, however, the Commission would very much like to see local authorities making much greater use of PER's recruitment services and PER, itself, will continue to do everything possible to develop closer relationships with local government.
