Mr. Wardasked the Secretary of State for the Environment whether, in view of the increasing number of tourists passing the Palace of Westminster, he will consider placing suitable informative plaques on the railings giving basic historical facts about the site and an indication of its present uses.
§ Mr. MarksThis is a matter on which I shall have to take the advice of the Authorities of both Houses and the Lord Great Chamberlain. I will draw this suggestion to their attention.
