§ Mr. Hollandasked the Secretary of State for Trade (1) how many individuals other than civil servants have been appointed by him to bodies other than departmental committees since February 1974; and if he will list in the Official Report the names of the individuals and the bodies to which they have been appointed;
(2) how many individuals other than civil servants have been appointed by him to bodies other than departmental committees in the last 12 months; and if he will list in the Official Report the names of the individuals and the bodies to which they have been appointed.
§ Mr. MeacherMy right hon. Friend has made 30 salaried appointments since 667W February 1974 including nine in the last 12 months to those bodies other than departmental committees for which he is responsible.
The names of the individuals concerned in the British Airports Authority, the British Airways Board and the Civil Aviation Authority are included in the White Paper "List of Boards of a Commercial Character as at 1 April 1977" (Cmd. 6803.).
Since compilation of the White Paper my right hon. Friend has made the following appointments to these boards:
