§ Mr. RowlandsThe Government of the United States of America are presently developing a navy support facility on Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory, in terms of a published Exchange of Notes (Cmnd 6413) between the United Kingdom and United States Governments, dated 25th February 1976.
I have no plans to make a statement on the development, details of which were placed in the Library on 26th February 1976 and which is proceeding according to schedule.
