Mr. Alan WilliamsAs I explained in my answer on 19th January—[Vol. 924, c.235]—we shall continue to do everything we can to promote industrial development on Merseyside. Qualifying firms there also stand to benefit from the allocation of additional resources to encourage investment in industry which was announced by my right hon. Friend 15W the Chancellor of the Exchequer in December.
