§ Mr. StrangI am informed that rice can be coated with several substances to improve its nutritional quality. The term "coated rice" is also sometimes applied specifically to rice which has been subjected to a very high degree of milling. As far as we know there is little demand for this type of rice in this country, and imports into the United Kingdom have not been reported.
