asked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) if he will list in the Official Report the total number of employees, including uniformed staff, during each of the last 12 months of the Greater Manchester metropolitan county council and the West Yorkshire Metropoltian County Council;

(2) if he will list in the Official Report the total number of employees during each of the past 12 months of each metropolitan district council in Greater Manchester;

(3) if he will list in the Official Report the total number of employees during each of the past 12 months of each of the metropolitan district councils in West Yorkshire.
