§ Mr. Wallasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the position of fishing vessels from the USSR, fishing within British limits since 1st January 1977.
§ Dr. OwenThe USSR is designated under Section 2(1) of the Fishery Limits Act, 1976.
A Communication to the USSR—and other Third countries—from the Presidency of the EEC will shortly be sent specifying a limit on the number of their vessels which will be permitted to fish in the waters of Member States.
