§ Mr. Michael Morrisasked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection (1) when Section 137 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 will come into force; (2) when Section 138 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 will come into force; and (3) when Section 139 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 will come into force.
§ Mr. John FraserI hope soon to make a detailed announcement about the next stage of implementation of the Consumer Credit Act. My present plans relating to these sections are to make an Order shortly making them effective sometime in the late spring.
