asked the Secretary of State for Prices and Consumer Protection what was the average price of the most popular variety of bread eaten, expressed in pence per lb., in West Germany, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, the United Kingdom, Australia and the United States of America, on the latest convenient date.
