§ Mr. Freudasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science (1) if she will publish in the Official Report the authorities or individuals having the right of access to personal, confidential files and records of staff in colleges of further education;
(2) if she will publish in the Official Report the authorities or individuals 350W having the right of access to personal, confidential files and records of staff in primary and secondary education.
§ Miss Margaret JacksonAccess to DES written and computer records of teachers in primary and secondary education and those in colleges of further education is available only to officers of my Department and of the Exchequer and Audit Department whose duties require it, and occasionally to the Inspecting Officer of the Public Record Office.
Access to the more limited computer record is further extended to authorised officers of local education authorities and district auditors.
