§ Mrs. Wiseasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science how many provincial museums and art galleries have previously been helped by the provision of exhibitions from the regional services department of the Victoria and Albert Museum.
§ Mr. OakesFor the last year 69 exhibitions were sent out by the museum's loan service, and these were shown on 297 occasions in 119 towns. In addition, 194 collections of objects were sent to 846 exhibitions in 152 colleges of art and polytechnics during the last academic year. The cost of obtaining this information for earlier years would be disproportionate, as exhibitions have been circulated by this museum since 1854.
